RARE TRUE FIRST EDITION — Eragon by Christopher Paolini
Paolini International, LLC | Livingston, Montana | 2002

This is the scarce self-published true first edition of Eragon —
published by Paolini's family before the book was discovered by
novelist Carl Hiaasen and picked up by Knopf for a reported
mid-six-figure advance. This paperback edition predates the Knopf
hardcover by over a year and contains approximately 50,000 words
not present in the commercial release.

SIGNED directly on the title page by Christopher Paolini —
signature only, not a bookplate or facsimile.

PROVENANCE: Includes an original photograph of Christopher Paolini
signing this copy, providing direct proof of authenticity rarely
available with copies of this edition.(Digital delivery)

An estimated print run of under 10,000 copies were produced, most
sold directly by the Paolini family at bookshops, libraries, and
sci-fi conventions across the Pacific Northwest. Fine condition
copies are exceptionally scarce.

Ships fully insured in rigid mailer with archival protection.

Condition: Good

The book is in solid, readable condition with some signs of wear on the cover and pages. There may be light creases or minor markings, but no significant tears or missing pages. The binding is intact, and there may be minimal underlining, highlighting, or margin notes.

Notable: 1st Edition, Self-Published, Signed
