$35 fills a bag. However many you can fit. Bags provided — that works out at roughly 25 books, about $1.40 each.

When
Sunday, September 6 is National Read a Book Day, so we are making a whole weekend of it. Pick your day — we restock all three. Shelves are refilled every single morning, so Monday is not leftovers.

Fair warning: this is a treasure hunt, not a library
Nothing is alphabetized. Nothing is sorted. The good stuff is buried, and digging it out is half the fun. Come with time and a sense of adventure.

SOPHIBOOKS at Lakeline Mall, Cedar Park, Texas
Two storefronts side by side — children’s books on one side, teen and adult titles next door. One bag works in both, so families can browse together and still find the right book for everyone.
Before you come
Bags are provided
No need to bring your own. $35 per bag, fill it as full as you can.

Two sets of eyes beat one when nothing is sorted.
Bring a bigger car
Bigger than you think you need. People always underestimate this.
Give yourself time
The best finds come to people who dig. Rushing defeats the point.
Questions
How many books fit in a bag?
Roughly 25, depending on size. That is about $1.40 a book.
Can I come more than one day?
Yes, and plenty of people do. We restock every morning, so each day brings different books.
Do you take donations at the sale?
We do — and if you have more than you can carry, we will collect them from your door for free. Book a free pickup.
