Temple is on our northern route toward Waco, which we run regularly.
How it works in Temple
1. Tell us where
Fill in the form with your Temple address and the dates that suit you.
2. We confirm
We get in touch to agree a time on one of our Temple runs.
3. Leave them out
Boxes out by 8am. We collect between 8am and 8pm. No need to be home.
4. They find readers
Resold affordably in our shop, or donated on to schools and libraries.
What we take
Books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, VHS, vinyl records, board games, puzzles and video games. Hardback or paperback, old or new, any subject at all.
Most conditions are welcome, from like-new to well-loved. Please recycle anything mouldy or badly water-damaged rather than passing it to us.
Military families moving on from Fort Cavazos often have whole shelves to clear at short notice. We can work to a deadline.
Why not just take them to a charity shop?
You can, and plenty of good ones exist. But most have limits: no textbooks, no encyclopedias, no old editions, nothing in bulk. Shelves fill and they start saying no.
We do not have those restrictions, and we come to you. If it is a book, we will take it.
We work with libraries, not against them
If you would rather support your local Temple library directly, please do — we encourage it. Libraries also use our pickup service themselves when they need to clear space, and they can request specific titles from us when they need them.
Book a free Temple pickup
